Meditation

@Charlotte eyes open/closed doesn’t matter. Even with eyes open and headless there is still an ending of registration/recording/recollection(time)

And the more awareness doesn’t act on its own psychological continuity headlessness will deepen.

Then even dreaming will cease. Sleep will be unburdened by time as well.

It is a journey of falling asleep while meditating until one wakes up, and in the process, everytime feels different, a new reallity, a new perspective, a new feeling in and out :)

If in the process, one wakes up with some sort of irritation, auditory, visual, feeling, depression like, is just a deeper advancement into the awake state, what usually people call the nonsense of ego backlash, wich is false.

@Charlotte exactly! I meant that even though you're upright, head over heart, you can be in a state that's a replication of sleep. It will not feel like sleep. The tell-tale sign of a conscious state like this is the memories going completely out the window. :)

@Serotoninluv Totally get what you mean with singing bowls. It happens the same with myself.

Neither have I ? this was by the far the longest. Is it a state I'd like to return to? Definitely. I actually don't know if they helped yet, I'll try again tomorrow without and see how it goes and then try again with the next day and compare. I've felt ultra grounded and peaceful all day so I don't know if that has much to do with it.

@Jack River  Beautiful jack!

@Hellspeed ?

Remember the motive to re-experience non-experience will prevent ones head from falling off. :)

Motive/effort/resistance to recapture no experience will sustain the loop of experience(registration/recording/recollection.

I don't understand how he would be able to have a conversation though? Or even type anything.

I feel ya. Having to respond with thought itself makes it more difficult.

He once told me he has to set a timer when goes on rides, walks, and such. Otherwise he will wander into oblivion haha.

It happens to me from time to time on the water. Then I realize and the thought of Sharks swimming around me sets in:(

this is something that happens all the time as a kid, no worries regrets judgements. Boundless energy, easy flow of emotions, joy arising at any moment

as a kid it doesn’t get labeled

Has any of you guys meditated and afterwards you don't remember any of it? Like you don't even remember being sat there until you open your eyes.

I think it happens when consciousness dissociates from the body. Your body awareness disassembles into its raw form.

It happens when you are in a state of flow, concentration, sleep, or sometimes just watching a movie. In general when you are absorbed in an activity.
This raw form is pure experience without an experiencer. It's what we all are up to about the age of 2 when body awareness begins to develop.

You can catch this state in action when you are transitioning between the waking awareness into a deep sleep. But generally, you can not recall a lot from this state, because there was no human present.

It is said that you can disassemble your body awareness permanently with Mahasamadhi.
