If the universe was infinite

The universe is infinite love is infinite

Funny how you talk about love. I've been thinking just recently about what it is. So I'll give you my full assumption based off what I observed.

Love is an illusion that generates a positive emotion throughout the body. When you love someone or something you don't love the actual physical or existential them, you love the idea in your head of the person, place, or thing. For instance, someone with a "love for astronomy" can imagine a black hole and feel the emotion of love for it. They haven't seen a black hole before but they can still feel the emotion. Even the whole concept of dating someone is just concept. Based off of the philosophy of dating someone, you can date anyone on the planet.

I have a hard time believing that the universe is infinite. Mainly because of 2 reasons. Space is black & you can only see so many stars.

Let's discuss reason #1. When your mind can't distinguish something due to lack of light entering your eyes, that object is seen as black. It is there but your can't interpret what it is. The color black is basically just an eye error in a way unless it's black paint or something like that. Black paint isn't the same as black when there's no light. When you look at the night sky then you see the color black. If it went on forever then it would be clear since there is nothing for you mind to perceive.

Reason #2. You can see an individual star in space. If space was infinite then there would be an infinite number of stars. So you wouldn't see the black. All you'd see is stars covering the whole sky.

Your thoughts or counter arguments?

The universe is expanding exponentially.

The further out you get, the faster space is moving away from the  observer. At a certain point, space is moving away from us faster than the speed of light. We cannot detect anything past that point but that is not to be interpreted as nothing being there.

Furthermore, you are talking about four dimensions in this universe. It would be a huge, unsubstantiated assumption to assert that there are only four dimensions and no other universes.
