Posted December 19, 2018 Hello all. I am looking for an effective way to lose weight. I have been training regularly for 2 weeks and I am on my own diet and I don't see the results. Do you think I should go to a specialist? Can you recommend any e-book or course to me? 5,9 ft and 286,6 lbs greetings
Posted December 19, 2018 (edited) Try one meal a day this doesn't mean you eat for one hour a day but that you stick to eating one meal a day. If you eat more than one meal a day during that hour then its no longer one meal a day after all. I have tried training to lose weight my self either you need a very special kind of training or it not very effective to lose weight at least i haven't' gotten good results from doing it. I have also been recommended to eat carbohydrate free food. Lose weight is also something i think can take a lot of time one of my friends waited for 3 months for results. And leo took him 5 months if i recall correctly. However, i guess you need to know that the process you use works and get you the results you are looking after. Also the reason why we get more weight is because of over eating so that may also be helpful to keep in mind. Edited December 19, 2018 by BjarkeT
Posted December 19, 2018 Try eating a vegan diet. If you do supplement B12 and algae oil. And Vitamin D3. The latter two is pretty important for folks.
Posted December 19, 2018 i'm not sure vegan diet is best for beginners, i would try keto instead, it helps suppress appetite , while vegan diet will trigger insulin
Posted December 19, 2018 Be patient, two weeks is hardly any time to see weight loss. You could even be gaining muscle that's replacing fat right now. Keep at it, maybe dial up your efforts a little and you will see weight loss. Consistency over the very long term is the important thing. Think months and years not weeks. What is your current diet like? When do you eat? How much exercise are you actually doing? Weight loss simply comes down to burning more calories than you ingest, the different diets can be explained in those terms. How to get to infinity? Divide by zero. Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) don't try any extreme diet, imo. If anything, come to understand your ethnicity and heritage, what did you ancestors survive on? Probably a variety of stuff right? but definitely not junk food like soda, potato chips, and pop tarts. Come to understand this on a deep level so that you desire the things that make your body feel good. Adopt long-term healthy habits such as eating whole foods. However, some good guidelines are to reduce carb intake, eat vegetables, and consume healthiest sources of animal products (grass-fed milk, meat, yogurt, and wild caught fish). Furthermore, How many calories are you eating? You should figure out what calories are necessary to maintain your current weight, and then reduce about ~400 on a daily basis. In the same way you splurged to get into that position, you're going to have to go on a deficit; however, if you eat good wholesome foods, it should keep you feeling filled and energized. Eventually you get used to it. Count your calories and start creating a healthier relationship with food. This will probably take years if you have only now started considering changing your diet. Experiment and see how different foods make your body feel. If you are super disciplined you can find the answers out in a year or maybe less, but it can also take 2-3 years if you are not super disciplined and keep "cheating". you can use myfitnesspal.com or the app, to count calories and it will also help you log and track your progress. In addition, Fasting can be helpful if you like it. I've read that it can boost fat burn. Elliot Hulse would recommend those who wanted to lose weight to walk about one hour in the morning before breakfast, so a soft exercise in a fasted state can help! edit: @outlandish is correct! If you are exercising with weight, you will be putting on muscle which can explain the weight (pounds) gain. You would be better off looking at fat loss through looking at your body and looking at body fat percentage pictures. Posted December 20, 2018 It is pretty much impossible to gain weight if you eat a diet consisting whole plant foods, unless you gouge on nuts and seeds. The fiber and water makes the food large.

Posted December 20, 2018 I feel like "your own diet" means that you just kinda take it as it goes and generally try to be healthy and stick to a few kinds of food? I'm not sure, but I think people who are the most serious about losing weight keep track of calories. I think you should be too, you might be surprised at how many you're getting. On top of that, not all calories are equal in a sense. Protein takes more internal energy to break down and utilize, so like 30% or some number around there of the calories from protein you eat has to go into breaking it down, while its like a few percent for fats and carbs, but you can look all those numbers up if you care. The point is, the most effective weight loss strategies that I have done myself include high protein, it keeps you nice and full and I lost a surprising amount of weight just replacing one of my meals with a protein shake out of skim milk Comprehensive list of techniques: https://sites.google.com/site/psychospiritualtools/Home/meditation-practices I appreciate criticism! Posted December 21, 2018 Eliminate all wheat, rice, potatoes, and refined sugar from your diet and you'll lose weight easily. Also reduce your meal portion size by 20%-30%. You want to leave the dinner table with a slight feeling of emptiness in your stomach. Never stuff yourself full. You don't need to starve. You can still eat delicious high energy foods like meat, oil, butter, and fat. Don't make this a diet. Make this a permanent change to how you eat food from now on. You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
Posted December 21, 2018 @izakooo Take the following easy steps and you'll be there eventually: Calculate your Bmi. Educate yourself on exercise and nutrition (AthleanX is a great channel if you want to get started somewhere) Set up a healthy Carb/Protein/Fat ratio Count your macros approximately and consume a calorie deficit. Exercise a minimum of 3 times a week. Be consistent Be aware that you can lose fat eating McDonald's every day (if you eat a calorie deficit). Your aim should be health, not just weight loss. @Leo Gura What is wrong with potatoes and rice? Do you have any research that meat/butter/fat is good? For weight loss there is all kinds of research about carbs being a hindrance to weight loss. Keto diets have a lot of science behind them, I'm not going to link you because its impossible to avoid on google if you look up low carb weight loss. Also potatoes dont offer much in terms of nutrition so far as healthy fats and vitamins go, kind of just calorie bombs, which is cool if you're starving and need to put on weight, not if you're trying to loss weight Comprehensive list of techniques: https://sites.google.com/site/psychospiritualtools/Home/meditation-practices I appreciate criticism! Posted December 22, 2018 I would recommend intermittent fasting. OMAD is even more effective, buit doesn't suit everyone. I tried OMAD and it makes me feel way too bloated. Eating twice a day within a 6-8 hour window is more sustainable and pleasant, in my opinion. Also, stay away from any sugary stuff and starches. That includes also fruits (especially eaten alone). Eat veggies that have no starch (broccoli, cabbage, greens, etc.) Try to eat more protein and fats. Sugar will make you even more hungry instead of satiating you. Eat testosterone diet and full fat foods, like natural butter or macadamia/brazillian nuts, pumkin seeds, greens, spirulina/chlorella. Run from low fat stuff, run from the majority of seeds and nuts, only find those who boost testosterone. Depends greatly on your awakened state. More dormant, less food. more selective. More awakened, more flexible. Edited December 27, 2018 by Hellspeed ... 7 rabbits will live forever.
