Because they have occult things in them, to control the masses.

Same goes with christianity wich maybe is one of the most dangerous.

What do you mean by control?

Yeah I just recently discovered that Elohim was the name given to the pagan deities in Canaanite culture, Elohim is of course also what God is called in the bible. Funny coincidence eh...

The majority is only celebrating their attachment to pleasure, mediocrity, hypocrisy and commercialized ritual through herd instincts.

Christmas in the US mindlessly supports many devilish activities.

Santa is only a thinly disguised anagram for Satan.

Thanksgiving (though not Pagan) isn't about expressing existential gratitude but instead it is about gobbling down heavy meals, sleeping and waking up (rising from the dead) the next day to anxiously participate in the darkness of Black Friday.

I like to imagine a tribe of telepathic turkeys gathering around a campfire, forming a sophisticated alliance against mankind.

All high quality advertisement has subliminals and occult slogans. Same in the majority of high quality web sites. Same in the main religions. Courts, Police, Hospital, Supermarket, you name it. Now is time to take out the "glasses" of the mind to see them. They are all around, even animals are using occult things, the common folk still believes animals are superior in physical, some in mental etc, is not true for the Buddha, the Buddha can interact with any animal without being harmed, and he/she ca see beyond the 5 senses, otherwise is not enlightened, is not a Buddha.

Isn't it funny and also crazy that we celebrate the day of birth of a man who isn't even a historical character (Christ) in yet the majority of people on earth and Christians believe he is and we operate as though he really actually existed?

Not that it matters necessarily. The story of Christ is what's important but still

Funny how the mind attaches to beliefs and symbols so easily...

Indeed. I couldnt care less if Christmas went out the window for good. It was just an observation I made, its interesting to me how the majority of people dont know/care where these traditions come from.

I celebrated these holidays because my family did and it was fun, now I chose to continue celebrating them because I enjoy the Halloween parties with my friends and a chance to exchange gifts.  While these may derive from pagan festivals, it's now anyone's choice to celebrate depending on if they feel like the benefit from any given holiday.  I think it's easy to look too deep into this, I think the pagans celebrated these holidays with very different intents than we do today.  Also cool that you live in Sweden!  Have some family in Norrtälje and Stockholm, beautiful country

I feel that in a way my family is forcing me to celebrate it. I just wanna be quiet, because I feel so good and complete, but they interpret as if I´m grumpy and insensitive. I have a big family in Brazil and of course I have a choice, but I feel like I have to play along because they are not ready for the new me...
