Best Psychedelic Trip Music Mega-Thread

As far as my own experience goes though nothing comes close to this. I love piano, but this must be my very favorite album ever. When I tripped once, I plugged in this album and I instantly felt perfect peace and stillness. Next thing I remember I regain consciousness on the LAST NOTE OF THE LAST SONG. I was gone for the whole album. Literally gone. My face was washed in tears of utter bliss in nothingness. Even remembering this brings up so many feelings.

You can just play any of these and your trip will turn into absolute magic. Best listened to in one go. Great for dancing and letting go completely. Haven't done a trip without listening to at least one of these.

This one's very calm / beautiful / surreal. Works great if you want to explore those peak emotions.

Not your typical tripping music but I put this one on during my last trip and it was fucking amazing. Really coloured the atmosphere. Like entering a different world.

And of course Pink Floyd. All of it. ;)

Must-listen albums. They were MADE for tripping.

You will understand what flow means when you listen to these two on acid.

Ambient / New Age / Classical

(Tribal sounds, for going full shaman)

(Really gets me into a "Heros journey" mood lol)

(From "Mystic chords & Sacred spaces" album, it's like 5 hours of being in heaven, literally sounds like an infinite void.)

Techno:

  • Boston 168 (raw analog stuff)
  • Feral (Hypnus)
  • Anything from Hypnus records really (Ambient techno)

Podcasts:

I thought listening to music on a trip was just an entertainment thing that took away from the spiritual work? I've never tripped, just wondering if Leo has changed his mind on this :)

@-Rowan That´s true! For me personally it can be abit to overwhelming to have no sound and close my eyes cause then i´m on my own. Music can direct the experience and make it flow like it´s holding my hand. It can also at the same time make the trip deeper as you trust the music and the trip and it´s easier to let go and give into the trip.
