speaking from an atheist's perspective how would you convince an atheist or rationalist that spiritual experiences are not hallucinations or illusions...?

Hey, welcome to forum.

If there is one ‘theologian’ which needs no convincing, it is the rational atheist. As a materialist, the magnitude of suffering from their own beliefs is all the convincing necessary, albeit a slow painful path.

Fosho..

Belief and disbelief are one and the same. Both stem from one single belief..I am limited/fleeting.

Paradigms might not be the biggest concern or obstacle.

No matter which paradigm you're in; your real issue is identification. Attachment.

We have to show how the materialists perspective is an illusion/hallucination and that spiritual experience is the reality to those illusions/hallucinations. Which is quite simple and obvious to one who isn’t to scared?

What is your hallucination? Share the visions and sensations.

Falling, falling, falling away out of this hallucination. Desperately trying to grab ahold of anything to stop falling into nothing.

@Tausif Ahmed he has a enlightenment playlist. Videos from like 3 years ago but still a great place to start. I started there when i was introduced to actualized.org

If you want to go deeper, you need to find out that rationalism is an idea and embrace not knowing and being absolutely clueless about everything, to truly experience it as it is.

@ivankiss is there anything "outside" hallucinations?

Is it all illusion?

If infinity is all possible, is it possible to go beyond impossible?
