Im thinking about starting to donate money to the poor. Im unsure if its worth it... if the money goes to the fat greedy capitalist :D at the top or actually helps the person in need? Whatcha think?

@Rilles the idea that charity CEO's get paid too much is an ignorant claim, according to this video

Very good talk I watched a while back.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

Not anymore. Helping that way will is not a help in reality, it creates addicts.

@Rilles Give locally; churches, shelters, half way homes, etc. There’s no shortage of people who could use a hand getting back on their feet.

Sweden is already pretty well off... I want to reach further... But I can do both. :P

Are you referring to the charity workers becoming addicts to money? Or are you saying that the recepeients of charity become addicts? If its the latter case, I don't think funding humanitarian aid for starving African children is gonna create addicts. Neither is helping the disabled, disease stricken or extremely poor gonna create addicts.

Giving money for free leads to destruction in the long run for those who receive it. Because it creates a glitch in the Matrix of the mind.

Ever wonder why people remain poor? Is because of this.

Ever wonder why those who had literally nothing can become the greatest?

Maybe only the disabled are in this kind of need, otherwise, we have the world that we have.

Why not just give back to Leo? Your money would go much farther, and your contribution would feel more personal since you already have a pseudo-connection with him.

Lol! Yeah I could... although I doubt Leo is starving without a roof to sleep under. Could do it as a thanks though, good idea. ;)

Starving is not an addiction. Im willing to give a buck to someone who doesnt change the world but lives a decent life.

Very rarely I give money , I do not trust most charity spending habits, there are just tremendous amounts of money put into charity, with very little

outcome, especially when you understand how much that money is worth in thous countries compared to ones who give it.

Think bigger than just "helping poor people."

Always thought it would be cool to donate to grassroots de-mining operations in areas devastated by bombing, where people regularly die or loose limbs to un-detonated munitions everywhere. Cause lots of these places in Asia and Africa receive no funding to clean it up.

Charity.org and other watchdog groups help you understand where your money goes. I’ve given to church for years but am disenfranchised over the uses. I love compassion child and have watched a boy in Peru grow up with my help. Overall, I’d try to be hands on with the organization so you know how it is being used. Yes, I agree with donating to Leo. He is amazing and is changing the world for the better. Giving definitely raises your vibration and is a good thing for all.
