What are some basic fumdamental gestures and mannariams to adopt for you're viewers when you begin a YouTube channel.

I had a habit of looking around the room with my eyes when speaking when I must smile whilst looking firmly in to the eyes of the audience(well, camera...) to engage with them, Right?

Any more suggestions for effective engagement and relatability with viewers?

Newby to beginning my future channel! ;D

No matter what's your style. Just go with total honesty and total sincerity which is so rare. Most  youtube channels are so constructed and fake that one can in a second recognize who ain't acting noble.

Oh Damn, that's so true, thanks for the advice and getting back!

:P wow, I guess I will just be my authentic self afterself truly and honestly no matter if I look 'weird' huh? What tribe is going to outcast or kill me? xD haha no fear needed here.

I will be true to who I am and that will be the truly magnetic quality. authenticity always is! :D oh man

Thanks pal!

Authenticity is key. So, make sure that whatever you improve about your speech and mannerisms doesn't obscure your natural personality. But you can find a way to filter your authentic identity through use of engaging public speaking techniques. I'm also fairly new to Youtube. Here is a video that I enjoyed about public speaking. Good luck! What is the link to your channel, by the way? I'll check it out. :)

I do too, real bravery. :) sometimes it's a limiting belief or 10 that we are too weird or dont talk good enough but just be yourself and it's all you can do ;P

I look forward to when I start, just not on my agenda right now, doing too much other stuff xD on my growth..or show I say 'Being' too much not 'doing' xD ahaha

Have you started your YouTube channel yet? If you feel insecure, that's totally normal. I would suggest you to find a FB group called "365 day video challenge" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/627850120663330) and start recording one video every day. It's private group comprising people who're training their speaking skills as well, so it's very friendly and accepting environment for starting practicing and getting your first reference experiences of putting yourself out there. I actually haven't started this challenge yet myself, but will do in upcoming week.

And I agree, authenticity and accepting yourself fully (e.g. you current level of competence (or incompetence :D)) is the most important thing when starting doing anything. Acceptance is the foundation of any development. I found that the hardest part for myself is to actually start recording and start putting myself out there, because I personally always have this pressure of "wanting to make it perfect" and it kills authenticity. So you have totally let go this vision of perfectionism and realize that "you don't need to be perfect to start, but you have to start to become perfect" as Zig Zigglar once said.

I will start very soon, just not ready (right) now but soon! :D you're right, perfection kills authenticity so I will just  be me whatever that 'looks' like ;)
