Help me avoid being a Zen Devil - best scripture to read?

I was watching Leo's 'Zen Devil' video and I recognised that I am in danger of becoming a Zen Devil. Or perhaps I already am one. See, I've done the meditation and had the insights, yet I have not studied any scriptures.  Leo says this can lead to problems. What is the best non-dual book/scripture to read first?

EDIT: this isn't strictly true as I have read Power of Now and other spiritual texts, yet I am not grounded in tradition.
