Just sharing a funny spiritual experience

9 posts in this topic

I'm sharing this just because how funny it is to experience it. It really makes me chuckle.

When in a deeply meditative state, words can become indistinguishable from other sounds, in the sense that meaning is no longer inferred from them. So you can hear a person who is running their mouth off vexing poetics and yet it's no more profound than the sounds an orangutan might make. I hope you can experience it and have a laugh. :D

Yeah, its super funny, you could definitely create a meme from it haha. I heard Sadhguru talking about it in one of his stories, I dont know if it happened to him, but he was talking about a boy, who was sitting at his desk in one of his classes and he didnt understand the teacher, because he was in a meditative state. :D

Yep, this is a thing. Pretty trippy.

But...the laughing has breaked the meditation >:(

i dont think i have been deep enough to stop recognizing words/thoughts as content i know

but i had this with music

was listening to music in the background (epic theme music) and heard each instrument separately to combine together to make a beautiful sound

also the sound itself was being viewed as something so different than it usually is in that state

good stuff

@FoxFoxFox Since it is a spiritual concept I cannot ascribe it specifically, but here is an approximate analogy of the result of the disruption:

@i am I AM Haha that's a nice face, but no, in the words of great Alan Watts: the maya world has been seen to be the same as the nirvana world. There is no duality.

@i am I AM Isn't it more like that the thinking about it breaks the meditation? You probably laugh when you think mostly, but...

The answer may be too difficult for people to comprehend. I'm serious.

So, don't worry about it.
