This thread is about overlaying some foundations about spiritual knowledge.

 

• 1. Awareness (Non-changing/ all ever there is)
• 2. The real-ity (the object, target of the Awareness/ the empty box/ nothingness)
• 3. Existence (Universe/ Environment/ Infinitude/ Illusion of time also gets under here)
• 4. Person
  • 4.1 Personal experience (Memory)
  • 4.2 Personal appearance (Body)
  • 4.3 Personal preferences (Mind/thinking/EGO)

 

Properties that don't know where to put in order on the list:

1. Power to claim the realty one (H.Self) desires
2. Power to choose (Who chooses?)
3. Power to wish the reality one (EGO) desires
4. Power to imagine

 

Things to consider

1. No-self
2. Ego-self
3. Higher Self

 

Questions:

1. Which one to identify with?
2. Why to identify
3. Why there're lot's of identities
4. Who's identifying with what?

 

Questions regarding to 1. Awareness

1.  Why awareness is dynamic? (Under reality, It is dynamic and infinite, have lots of shapes and forms, is the ultimate super-set)

Best thing is not to have any identification. If that's not passible yet, then the second best thing is to have one pointed identity with your teacher or guru.

Also I heard that if you have strong identification with the body you will be much more about sex and pleasure. It's better to be identified with your mind. When you're identified with mind you become more about your future and what to do in life. 

 

If you want to know where your identification is dominant. Sit silent for a few minutes and see if thoughts are comimg about people and relationships, then your body identification is stronger. If thoughts come about your future and plans in life, then identity is with the mind
