Seeing people as unreal?

Hello,

As i was sitting at a family meeting, it struck me that “the other” is not there. “The other” is just an idea in my head, and when that idea is not there, there is no such thing as “the other” and this also effects in the absence of “me” at the same time. Very weird... Was this a glimpse of the absolute truth?
