You can watch the movie on YT, type in "True Hallucinations". It's a two-part documentary series about 6-8 hours long if I recall correctly, created from McKenna's recordings.

The whole Jim Carrey thing was a very clever and funny marketing tactic.

Nevertheless, it's a good movie, I recommend watching it. Substitutes reading Terrence's books.

@Charlotte I remember crapping my pants well over a year ago after seeing that True Hallucinations ad with Jim Carrey. Then I later found out that him being in the movie was also a true hallucination. It would have been incredible, and with him speaking sort of speaking in non-duality, it seemed plausible that he would do a movie like that. That would have opened up a lot of people's minds to psychedelics and non-duality. A movie like that, with a monster star like him in the lead role, that could honestly start another psychedelic revolution.
