The extremely and forever elusive "THAT" which I AM

Had this insight during one of my sits about the powerful saying by nisargadatta maharaj

 

I AM THAT

IT cannot be pin-pointed . IT can be recognized / sensed / felt briefly but can never be "seen" or captured in the NOW

 

I kinda had a little back n forth with IT

Knowing that I am IT and am the one who is aware of the thoughts - It felt appropriate to say that from a place of knowing and "speaking as the ego" about the self: there I was  - referring to the knowing or awareness about a thought/feeling or sensation and seeing briefly mySELF

 

Knowing or being aware of a phenomena is just simply THAT ... the knowing of it.

 

Ergo, it cannot be pointed to...

It will always pervade all experience by the knowing of it

And I felt I understood exactly what Maharaj says in his knowing and communicating via his body I AM THAT
