A bird in your palm

Spirituality is like a small bird that lands in the palm of your hands  

But then you try to force feed it, to find ways and tools to make the bird bigger, or you even dispose of the small bird and look for a bigger bird 

What did you do for the small bird to land on your palm?  

Nothing, your palm was open  

And so for the bird to grow you must do nothing, let it grow as it is, yes feed it some food here and there, but the bird does the growing 

It came to you and it will grow and live with you  

 

Often we try to rush spirituality  

Look at it from the perspective of your timeless immortal being  

You will never have the chance again to be who you are now, you will never again be a human that awakens from the dream to his or her soul, you will never have the opportunity to live this  

Once you fully enlighten you're gone from this place  

Again we make the same mistake as when we were kids, we start getting what it means to be an adult, we think and idolize being an adult instead of enjoying being a kid  

This is the same crap all over again, you start getting what it means to be fully enlightened and you want to get there as fast as possible, without enjoying your "young spirituality", enjoying your awakening

Deep suffering is beautiful. 

The irony I found is, we can’t appreciate suffering, loss, pain, fear until we start living from our hearts. That’s when the journey begins. Before then we are sleeping.
