Vaishnavi

what has life taught you so far?

Probably one of my favourite questions to ask people.

Life has taught me that humans are THE most beautiful creation and that we have the power to do anything and everything.

It has taught me that life is beautiful, even the not-so-good times, its okay to have them. They'll wake you up to the good things you weren't paying attention to.

i would love to know what you have learned from life. :)

Wow that is an incredibly difficult yet profound question. So far life has taught me that everything is fluid and constantly changing even in the most minute ways, sometimes in huge ways, I've learnt that the people I looked to as a child and thought knew everything make mistakes too. I've learnt to embrace and be grateful for all the things and people I have in my life as you never know if they will be around tomorrow.  I am trying to wear my heart on my sleeve and show and tell people how appreciative I am that they are in my life. But life has a way off pulling you away from the  important things and into the mundane.

My friend gave me this many years ago and it still holds relevance, even more so as I get older.

I changed the format of the poem to make it easier to read.

An interesting topic.Well,  from a recent experience, life has thought me how "dense" I was regarding how opportunities in life and how they can come and go.

Even if the experience was coincidental and I'm being pretentious, the interpretation that I was left with was one which could impact my life positively if I choose to use it. Essentially I was put in a situation where, I saw life as containing opportunities or doors if you like, you either see them or you don't. And if you're able to see them, you can either take those opportunities or walk through those doors or not -  through fear. But, if you stall and do nothing... some of those doors if not all of them will eventually disappear/close.
