Is There One Book That You Would Read Everyday For The Rest Of Your Life?

12 posts in this topic

I was just watching this interview with Bob Proctor

and he said that he is reading "Think And Grow Rich" everyday for 55 years now. Seems crazy to me, but he is rich and I am not.

Would you consider this a viable option for you? Which book would you choose?

If I had to choose just one book, I think I would choose:

As a man thinketh by James Allen

Maybe I would consider this a viable option, it's a beautiful short book. Relating to visualization I would like to share a quote from it...

"The vision that you glorify in your mind, the Ideal that you enthrone in your heart--this you will build your life by, this you will become."

I would choose a spiritual poetry collection. Probably some of the Rumi's poems.

Quote

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. - Rumi

I like it already. And I assume that after Enlightment, it can only get better.

Close your eyes. Behind your eyelids is the most useful book youll ever need. Read it everyday, watch the insights pour in. :)

The Truth Contest book.

I have permanently locked myself out of my account to force myself to focus on my work. Goodbye.

Only the contents of my own Journals would be worth that, and not even those.

No lol

Just takes notes on the most important topic of the book instead of wasting time reading it to remember it.

Yes and Michael Jordan had a “lucky” part of the bench he would always sit on, would wear in his old UNC basketball shorts in the NBA, but is that why he was MJ and as good as he was?... No. The guy was one of the most talented guys in the game and worked sickeningly hard.
