If a grape...

... could ask when it was a grape no more what would that grape ask? Was I tasty? Was I not?

In the same vein what would a human ask when he was human no more? Did I matter?  Did I not?

Not sure. Are you saying they are nothing now, or turned into something else?

For all I know, it may depend on what exactly one's turned into.

In my fruit bag,
a gift:
a love mutation,
two grapes,
each to the other,
dissymetric,
but together fused
-- heart-shaped asymmetry!

I want so to hold,
to keep,
to make last,
but know decay.

So into my mouth
the heart pop
and sweet entropy
 consume.

@i am I AM This is actually my very first attempt at writing something like a poem. I think one of the theme is about how the potential or value of life is only known after it's over but the one to actually know it is gone and can't even ask about it's value. Another one is about perspective I guess because if a grape could talk would it actually be concerned with it's taste or would it be more concerned with you know staying a grape and not be eaten...it makes sense I swear It's just hard to express it.

That makes sense. I think of it kind of like the decision of Adam and Eve in the allegorical garden of Eden. Everything would change so much that it would not even matter anymore to want the answer to those questions, as it would no longer be relevant, and/or meta-relevant to such a transmutation that initiated them.
