Make 3D porn animation on Patreon : 3-5k / Month

Bonus 2k if you choose a twisted niche like "Vore" or "My Little Pony" (or both)

Edit: I've just talked to a friend, he suggest "Gore" and "Furry people" as well

It may take some time to reach a Japanese audience

You can teach online and sell courses or sell other products. Or create a portfolio where people can see what you do and then hire you.

@Shadowraix Wow, thanks for sharing. Perfect for a student.

You can also do Affilate Marketing with sites like PeerFly, MaxBounty or Clickbank. But it's hard for a newbie.

Easier to do is creating a gig on Fiverr and offering your services here. To win the hearts of your clients, it's enough to complete tasks on time and write in fluent English.

@thehero I don't watch these so I don't have a favorite, but I like the art of it. I just know it exist because I've explored Patreon (research, marketing wise) but I'm not interested in that, even tho I have the technical skills. I may be tempted to do it for money, tho.

find a meaningful skill/ practice -> study and develop a hell out of it -> start offering it to people online. If you are really good at something, people are willing to pay you a lot of money for it.

You can always do what other people do like trying to sell crap from China on Amazon but that kind of business destroys spirit and your higher values in my opinion

You can learn any skill on Lynda.com and it's kinda free.  A lot of my digital nomad friends started out that way.  I spent the last 6 months in a digital nomad hotspot, btw.

Programming

Web Design

Graphic Design

Video Editing (of sorts)

etc

etc

etc

etc

I may be a bit premature here, but here's the gist of how to do it:

1) Pick a skill to freelance with. Examples of said skill include:

Copywriting
Google AdWords
Graphic Design
Marketing (Tends to overlap with other skills here, including Google Adwords, Copywriting, SEO, SEM, & Email Marketing)
Photography
Programming
Project Management
Proofreading & Editing
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Social Media (Social media management, social media marketing, etc)
Teaching/Tutoring (Notably by teaching foreign languages)
Transcription & Captioning
Translation
Virtual Assistant
Web Development
Writing (SEO writing, blog writing, content writing, article writing, etc)

2) Spend time building that skill. I've heard great things about Udemy and Lynda so try going there.  I personally winged it, and in hindsight, I could've started a lot sooner if I had a more structured approach.

3) Find paying clients. Cycle through your immediate social networks and see if you can find your first job that way. If not, go through various job boards and send out proposals. Examples of job boards include:

Upwork.com (hard to break into)
Freelancer.com (not recommended)
Peopleperhour.com
Guru.com

Again this may be premature because I haven't been freelancing for long, but what I've found so far is that:

1) Clients are looking for a go-to freelancer that they can use again and again for ongoing work.
2) You can charge a lot more for repeat clients because they already trust you to do the job well and to communicate.
3) DOn't be afraid to take on projects that are beyond your skill level. Think of it like you're getting paid to learn.
4) Most proposals SUCK, even from highly experienced freelancers, so it's not hard to compete.

Hope that helps.

On a side note: If your eyes hurt from too much work on a computer, get f.lux. Its a program that adjusts the colour on your screen to be warmer. You might know this feature from newer phones.
