In that video, Noah Elkrief said something in the line of "Imagine hot coal and an ice cube. Which one is hotter? Neither is hotter because both exist in your imagination."

He pointed out that your self image also exists in your imagination. People who insult you are trying to worsen your self image.

Criticisms and insults are also pure imaginations which some people agree and some other people disagree. Compliments are pure imaginations, too. As long as you are affected by compliments, you are vulnerable to criticisms and insults.

Everything that exists in your mind is not true because it doesn't exist in physical reality. If it doesn't exist in physical reality, it is pure imagination.

Your self image does not exist in physical reality. But, your fingers do.

There may be social issues, but talks about social issues are pure imaginations that exist only in human mind. The talks are pure imaginations.

Hot coal in your imagination is not hot. Social issue in your mind is not real.

Your self image tells you you're smart, stupid, ugly, attractive, and so on. But, your self talk is not actual reality. Talk is pure imagination.
