@Genghis Khan Thanks so much for taking your time to post this, I feel like there´s been alot of talk of dark night and ego backlashes and other "negative" stuff here I actually started to think maybe this isn´t the right path afterall?
So nice to hear you´r story, makes me want to keep investigating into reality on my own. Also really excited how you compared it to Lucid Dreaming. Ive had a few powerful awakeings in my dream and it´s so crazy when you realize your mind created everything around you, I feel like this is as close to enlightenment as I can comprehend. Nice to hear someone else compare the two.
So happy for "you" that you had this experience <3
Please keep us updated! :)

Yes. But the problem is that I can't know whether there is a Truth or not.

Don't look for the truth, look at what you experience. Believing in the truth is believing.

I can't know if you are right. Me following your advice regarding the truth would presuppose that I first believe you. And you could be wrong. So I cannot know anything no matter what anyone of you say.

This is why they say don't follow a teacher blindly, but find the answer for yourself. Following advice isn't to blindly believe but to apply it to verify it.

@Artaemis  my  question should come as no surprise to you: Please be a bit more precise. There has been alot of different kind of responses, to which do you refer to? And how are they strange?

ALL IS ONE! All of us, WE'RE ALL THE SAME MIND, THE SAME PERSON!

How do you know other people that you see are actual persons? What if they are part of the illusion just like characters in GTA 5? What if they don't have subjective experience that I have? After all, you haven't directly experienced other people's subjective experiences.

You could right now be stuck in a virtual reality where you are the only subjective viewer.

What if other people are as unconscious as toasters or computers or my keyboard?

If the virtual reality you were stuck in was good enough, you wouldn't know the difference.

Lol, just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.

This sounds awesome! Happy for you with a hint of envy lol
Now i am motivated to practice self-inquiry.
Tell us more about your experience, are you still feeling something? You can still "see" your realizations?

Im so happy for you! My turning point was also actually the "Life is a Dream" video. It is so blatant and blunt in your face, just pure gold. Now the real work can start! Now you know what you are actually pursuing. Reading about your experience actually made me so happy and a whole lot more conscious for the moment, thanks for sharing! Lets get to work <3

Whenever Leo talked about "becoming infinite" it just sounded like gibberish to me. I couldn't even understand the significance of a Samadhi experience. Suddenly all that changed in a single moment, after a certain line of thought. I was thinking to myself, "I am just a concept, and concepts are just thoughts, and thoughts are just sensations, and all of reality is sensation. That means that reality is nothing but this, the present moment. It's just this. Nothing exists but the present. But what am I? If the person I think I am is just an idea on par with any other unverified belief, then what is this? Wait a minute, could it be that I am everything? This entire reality could actually be just a creation of the mind, just as thoughts are? What if this is actually a dream, and everything and everyone is just an aspect of my mind? Wait a minute, if I actually observe reality as objectively possible, I will discover that it's the only explanation!" While considering these thoughts, it finally hit me, but it something beyond thoughts, something far more intimate.

This part hit me the hardest. Great work!

@Genghis Khan you didn’t felt afraid of knowing that Your life or the whole universe was just an illusion?

Thank you for sharing your experience, @Genghis Khan.
Your "laughing" experience reminds me of something that happened to me a couple of weeks ago: I was having this silly argument with my parents (I don't even remember what about) that blew up out of proportions. This happens often because there are unresolved issues that I personally like to address directly but either cannot communicate to them or bring out a topic they don't want to hear, anyway, we get into these sick dynamics where dirty mind games are used (for example gaslighing ). I was starting to lose my patience (which, whenever I do is used as a "you lose for showing emotion, I win" against me :( ) when all of the sudden, it hit me that truth is not something to fight over, it's something that is there and always will be and a person decides whether to see it or not... it all became trivial and I laughed but it wasn't a sick cynical kind of laughter, this was real, it was relief as I hadn't experienced in a long time. It was clarity. Clarity at the fact that no matter how bad it got, how in denial my parents were (or anybody else for that matter), no matter how much they decided to throw shit at the messenger (in this case me), the truth will always be there and fighting over it is just silly. If it's obscured now, a storm will come to wipe it clean some day :)

I don't know that I would call this enlightenment but it sure was a pleasant surprise.

@Salcedoop Sounds like you raised your awareness and got perspective all of a sudden. Which is a stark contrast where you were: deep down in details, walking in a dark forest with no landmark in sight. Very nice progress, happy for you :)
