I'm trying to be open minded here. If you hear about something from an enlgihtened person, you gotta consider it!

They see the ancestral memory in the past, present & future. "Past Life" is only the perspective on the mind, a narrow point of view & a trap for the unawakened.

My mind dismissed it as "woo woo" in the past.

No pun intended.

@Gligorije The meaning is two-fold:

1. The "past life" is referring to a previous incarnation of ego in the current life cycle. Once you witness the comings and goings of the ego, you realize that its not a permanent thing during the day. So each time it is manifested and identified with, that is considered a life. So by past life they are simply referring to one of those instances.

2. The past life is referring to an entirely different life cycle. For example I was an Italian priest in a past life. That sort of thing. It's quite useless, this siddhi.
