Good point LSD showed me that my mind and thought creates my focus and the lens IS over everything.

Every thought is pure in your cognition . Your eyes and mouth create the distorsion based upon feeling.

With the statistical methods used now they have reason to.

If we want to bring about a scientific revolution, it's going to take more convincing methods. 

Like you said we should stop using bulldozers and start using small butterfly catchers. But first you have to convince the scientific community that small butterfly catchers are an OK method. We better have a good argument.

I'm really wondering how we can bring about this sort of revolution. It should be possible.

@FrgttnDeer I've thought about this question a lot. It's not a matter of gathering more data, it's a matter of PR and changing cultural norms.

The materialist, rationalist paradigm is the chief obstacle. It must be undermined in the same way Copernicus and Galileo undermined the stationary Earth paradigm. This takes deacades and centuries because the status quo always clings. That's just what collective egos do.

The book I'm working on and the videos I'll be releasing are designed to deconstruct materialism and rationalism. That is my long term project.

I really don't know anything about how Copernicus and Galilei did it, but they had to have arguments that were valid from the viewpoint of the paradigm they wanted to overthrow. So deconstructing materialism has to be done with rational arguments. Or at least rational arguments must be used to point out where rationality fails. This is your strong point.

I'm looking forward to your new book. I hope you can find a way to reach a big audience.

Imagine life 600 years ago. No electricity, no phones, cars, cameras, computers, internet, no books. No idea that microbes like bacteria exist. . . They pretty much just had some farm equipment, cooking bowls, eating utensils, swords and armor. Life was about war with others, sex, eating and pooping. Imagine someone from that time frame entering 2018. It would be so mindblowing different that their brain wouldn't be able to adjust to 600 years in 6 minutes and they would go insane. Now imagine someone from 2018 goes back and tries to explain what life will be like in 600 years. Most of it would be incomprehensible to them. The little bit they could somewhat understand would seem like magic and supernatural to them. 

Are we not in the same position now? Wouldn't life in 2618 be incomprehensible to us? Wouldn't it be so mindblowing that we would go insane? I can't even imagine what it could be like - whatever it is would seem like magic and supernatural to us now. I'll try to imagine. . . perhaps people will experience multiple realities simultaneously. Perhaps people will communicate without spoken language. Language is so limiting - this new form of communication would be beyond anything we can comprehend. And it isn't spoken. Well how the fuck is it transmitted? Who knows, we can't comprehend it now.  Perhaps there will be additional senses we can't imagine. Humans would have centuries to adjust to this - yet imagine time traveling to 2618 and experiencing all this. Most likely, the mind would not be able to adjust to 600 years of progress in 6 minutes and would go insane.

Who knows if our current imaginations of ESP will pan out. Yet, there will be phenomena that appears that would look like magic or supernatural to us now. Not just little stuff. Mind blowing big stuff. 

All the stuff we speculate about now is child's play compared to what shall actually appear. . .

I've heard about this seeing a whole life before, and it makes sense.

I remember a few weeks ago I was walking around and thinking. Am I moving through the world or is the world moving through me? And then on a similar note: time isn't moving forward. Since consciousness has no attributes it cannot change, only contents change. It's difficult to explain, but it was experienced clearly.

It's like: you have infinity and every part of it has a perspective. From the perspective things are things and duality exist. With no perspective I don't know what you'll get. Everything, nothing, are they even different?
