Passive Income Sources?

4 posts in this topic

What are some good sources? So far, I'm thinking Kindle Publishing would be a good gig, the only downside would be that it obliterates motivation to finding your life purpose or staying on track with it, or all drive to achieve in life, as Leo suggests in his video:

The key is to make some sort of balanced system. For example: $10 a day would require reading a book a day, or $100 a day would require attend a seminar a day to keep a balance between motivation/drive and being a slug.

Back to the main question, what would be some good sources?

The thing is there really isn't a truly passive income source. In order to get to the level where you are getting passive income you first have to put in tons of work with no pay. Also in the beginning even if you do start to make money it takes a certain amount of work to maintain that income. Trust me, if you ever become complacent that "passive" income will disappear very fast.

With that being said, there are tons of ways to make passive income. You can do some low risk, low return investments. I would look into the concept of compounding interest. I haven't done much investing myself, but I'm currently studying finance, and investing and will begin doing so very soon.

Like you mentioned you can do kindle publishing that could be a lucrative source. Other things that are good sources: affiliate marketing, drop shipping, e-commerce, digital products, real estate.

Takes about $10k to lease and furnish a studio apartment, and you'll start getting an immediate return on your investment. I've outlined most of the costs and setup in this spreadsheet: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzRQDqUvIDqLM01iQzNOU1dEV2M

I'm also working on creating a subscription-based web app.
