The Level of my Captivity

This biological unit appeared and got indoctrinated environmentally and socially.

After some time, the majority of the indoctrination was done by the unit on itself. Thus forming the entire network of cues and tendencies that act as signals to keep this machine running.

And in no point of this whole process was there any conscious volition or free will from my part in the making of this machine.

It gets even worse. It's not like I have free will now to modify this machine. The unit only has the illusion of a free will so that this machine does not recognize the futility of it's existence and self destruct. 

The only way this machine can stay asleep to this fact is if it is successful at distracting itself incessantly.

What is real in this whole thing? Can anything be known for certain?

What can be done other than utterly giving up?

How much of that is direct experience, and how much is thought/belief? Lot of assumptions giving you troubles.

Already doing the practices but it doesn't hurt to know where one is at.

Yea, we don't get to design or program the bios of the robot but we get to manage the OS and run the apps on the robot as we prefer.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to make the robot disappear.... or not, some wrestle with the robot for a lifetime, it's up to you...hah

It’s an acquired taste. After the “no free will” thing sank in, I spent a couple weeks pretty much in bed. There was no personal will to do anything.
