Help me understand female sexual transmutation.

20 posts in this topic

As a male, sexual transmutation is as simple as retaining semen, and channeling sexual energy into things other than primal instincts, which comes part and parcel with abandoning watching porn and fantasizing about sex. Basically it's doing no-fap, and doing things with the sexual energy other than letting it fester, could be as simple as meditation, exercise, or learning. I hear women that have talked about experiencing sexual transmutation, but I have trouble grasping this, since refraining from ejaculation is the driving force behind male sexual transmutation, but women don't ejaculate. Sure, women can get addicted to porn, the act of pleasuring themselves or having sex, and stopping those addictions will boost their energy, but there isn't any loss of nutrient dense substance like semen, and I don't think female menstruation has any similar effect as male masturbation, even if they are as close as biological equivalents.

Or does it actually work the opposite for women? In the epic Seinfeld episode The Abstinence, George became a socially adept genius while going without sex (and one would assume masturbation also) for several weeks, while Elaine was also not having sex, but it had the opposite effect on her, making her very dumb with low attention span. These are obviously exaggerations, but what happens to George resonates with any no-fapper, and Elaine's timeline might have a basis in female psychology. It would make sense if it does, if male and female are complimentary opposites, the man loses life force by having sex and ejaculating with a woman, while she gains life force by being stimulated by him and "taking" his energy like a succubus.

Out of genuine curiosity, and I'd hope to hear from the female perspective on this.

I haven't spunked a load for about 3 weeks so far, not exactly counting, and feel very full of life energy. Sleep better usually and less tired when I don't, exercise more, read more, becoming more sociable and able to stay calm in even the most stressful situations. How do women get when they go a month without sex and masturbating?

The idea of sexual transmutation (when referred to as sexual transmutation) has become popular among men. So, you're unlikely to find any substantial information about female sexual transmutation if you Google it that way.

But ultimately, what has come to be known as sexual transmutation has to do with libidinal energy being able to be expressed at "higher" levels than at the level of pro-creation. This libidinal energy which comes as a result of the tension between polarities within ourselves also has many other names: Kundalini energy, prana, life force energy, chi, etc. etc. etc.

The reason why libidinal energy stagnates within us and stays "lowly" and only at the level of sexuality, is likely because we are repressing one half of our polarity. So, the interplay between Yin and Yang (and all the other polarities these subtle energies inform) is stunted and can't generate as much libidinal energy. This usually comes about when a person represses their less dominant energy.

So, a person who represses their less dominant energy will alway be looking for someone to complete them. So, a man will repress his femininity. And he will desperately come to seek that feminine part of himself through projection onto a women. So, sex will feel like the only acceptable way to be in touch with that aspect of himself. And it will be such a dire emergency to have contact with the feminine that all of his energy will be hung up in a deep need for sex. And his masculine energy that he hasn't repressed will remain "low" in order to seek the feminine separate from himself, as he has repressed his own femininity and made it impossible to have a connection with the internal feminine. Then, because he wants to be attractive to women, he wants to repress his feminine away more and more. So it becomes a repression snowball effect. I see this all the time.

But when the masculine and feminine are allowed to express themselves and enter into intercourse within an individual, there is no need to express libidinal energy low and it can be transmuted upward toward other things. And there will be a lot more energy produced as well because those polar energies can intermingle freely as they do in all of nature. So a lot more energy is accrued.

So, largely it has to do, for both genders with being able to accept all aspects of one's self and all polarities. Then, these polarities will have a lot of tension which creates the libidinal energy that can then be transmuted toward things of a "higher' nature.

Physically speaking, I would imagine that many men who have addictions of a sexual nature, are repressing their feminine aspect, also called the Anima. So, there is probably both an aversion toward the feminine in themselves and an equally strong pull toward re-integration of the feminine. So, because the non-sexual outlets for connection with the feminine have been blocked off within themselves, there is a deep pressure to be accepted by the feminine in a sexual way in the form of women. And if this is not possible, porn and masturbation is a substitute. And the small amount of libidinal energy that they have is spent on this.

Now, I think you won't find as many women struggling with this problem. The social stigma for women accepting their masculine side is a lot less than the social stigma for men accepting their feminine side. So, this is also probably another reason why women aren't looking for this information too much.

The bigger problem would likely be the tension between their own libidinal energy and the ideas that society projects onto it. And this causes a lot of repression. Or it causes an attempt to fit into the temptress box and relate your own creative energies to being objectified and pleasure to being treated poorly. So, these confusions and pleasure/pain inversions are more likely to be barriers for women than spending all the libidinal energy. This would be harder anyway, because women tend to have a lot more energy going on around the sacral chakra area, since this is where the womb is. That's just a guess though. I don't have a standard of comparison. It just makes sense to me.

So, the problem isn't draining, but instead is over-engorgment, stagnation, and repression. Also, inability to climax, inability to let go, and inability to express creatively are indicators of this same barrier.

Then, because he wants to be attractive to women, he wants to repress his feminine away more and more. So it becomes a repression snowball effect. I see this all the time.

This really speaks to me personally, it concurs with my own unusual experience and I am glad that you mentioned it. I have always felt very different than the typical male in that I felt free to seek out feminine energy and emotional stimulation from my environment. But it is commonly considered gay or effeminate for a man to experience sensuality in ways other than through interacting with women, and my guess is this was historically the case since any outlet for mens' desires for feminine energy other than sex was a hindrance to procreation. So in this way it makes sense men cultivating their own feminine energy and/or seeking out other sources of it besides pursuing sex women, like enjoying sensual music, romantic dramas, aromatherapy, platonic cuddling etc. would be lumped in with the same stigma as homosexuality. This only started making sense to me recently upon learning more about the nature of masculine and feminine, most of my life it was very confusing why I was mistaken for homosexual or considered effeminate for being a masculine man drawn to feminine energy.

My life now is about complete emotional freedom, reversing all the psychological effects of repressing my emotions as a child, teen and young adult. In this way I freely manifest both masculine and feminine energies, not afraid to fully embody either, but overall balanced. I feel whole and complete, not seeking anything or anyone to satiate me, I can enjoy being around women and not wanting to gain anything from them, which is a wonderful feeling just being in the moment having no expectations or attachments. This contrasts greatly from when I was attached to projecting masculinity and afraid of being seen as feminine, then I felt very needy, and lonely, and angry, falling for ideologies such as PUA, MGTOW and Incel to validate my feelings of emptiness.

Having balanced masculine-feminine polarity results in deep inner peace, content with myself just being. I would not want to become overtly masculine feeling like I need a feminine woman as my missing piece. And the main reason I doubt I could ever be in a real relationship is because I value and trust my own feminine more than I could anyone else's. But on the other hand, I watched the videos Leo made about masculine and feminine, and his conclusions were that having complete freedom to explore their feminine sides is the best way to cultivate a deep and powerful masculinity. Friends have also told me I exude a ferocious masculinity in the way I carry and express myself, despite lacking the typical characteristics of a macho man. Being feminine is not the same thing as being effeminate, which I'd describe as being overly meek, submissive, cowardly, yielding, things I have always had a strong aversion to.

This makes perfect sense now, I think I am really starting to understand. Sexual lust is extremely polarized energy, operating on lower levels of consciousness. Obviously this is why I have felt to be in a lesser state when I allowed myself to watch porn and fantasize about sexual things even while succeeding physically at refraining for ejaculation. And conversely I have noticed that the moments in life I am most blissful is when my mind-body wasn't focuses at all on sexuality, like it was something that never occurred to me. And the more people abstain from sex and self-stimulation the neural pathways reform, they become less preoccupied with primal urges and focus their consciousness on higher things. Now make me realize how important it is to have something, even something very simple like a meditation practice, to channel that energy to, not let it stagnate.

because the non-sexual outlets for connection with the feminine have been blocked off within themselves, there is a deep pressure to be accepted by the feminine in a sexual way in the form of women. And if this is not possible, porn and masturbation is a substitute. And the small amount of libidinal energy that they have is spent on this.

Indeed yes! Men addicted to porn and fapping oven think it is because they have a high libido, but it is mostly a craving for the feminine, seeking out a way to immediately address these cravings, and being stuck repeating an unfulfilling habit. Women might have it the same in this way, but for men the problem is compounded by the negative effects of constant ejaculation, which is very draining for the male body and psychology. I won't speculate reasons for this or look up data, but after stopping masturbating the difference is night and day, for me and countless others reporting on their no-fap experiences. Semen retention has a very profound effect on hoe men feel and express themselves, I for one find it much easier to connect with people and my emotional resilience is extremely high when going 2+ weeks without ejaculating. I can't say it's a bad thing to do and no man should wank or have sex except to procreate, but it is something which I have been severely addicted to for a long time, never could indulge in it with moderation, and so I feel 1000 times better cutting out masturbation altogether.

The whole idea is overly interesting for me and seems to explain somehow my addiction to fem-dom porn content. Personaly I think that feminine energy is more about being creative than watching romantic movies etc. I hope it is so because I HATE all the romanticism in our culture, even romantic comedies. Do you think I should I start to appreciate all this sweet stuff in order to connect with my inner female for perfect ballance?

I am and always have been romantic, but fully realize that romanticism has nothing to do with sexuality or love. I romanticize going for a walk, eating food, listening to music, watching TV late at night, sleeping in, looking at women, and anything else. I can appreciate romantic comedies and lovey dovey music for what it is, a fictional artwork.

A man into femdom is being effeminate and submissive, though it your case it might be just a symptom of your larger porn addiction. Creativity I believe is a masculine quality, doing, building, working towards a goal, innovating, detecting problems, finding solutions, pushing against the grain. Being in your feminine as I understand it is being in the flow of life, feeling emotions, having sensual experiences, trusting your intuition, just being instead of doing. Men accepting and embracing their feminine, without crossing over into effeminacy is the ultimate rejection of male disposability. Though it's hard to describe precisely using words exactly what masculine and feminine are, and how people experience them.

the energy/essence of femininity feels to me like freedom, selflessness, love and the ability to freely express...which has an essence of creativity to it.  If there is a sexual charge to it, from my experience if I can hold on to that (without releasing that sexual charge) and channel it towards something creative (and not structured - because that feels like bringing masculinity into this) it's then a very creatively powerful and blissful place to come from..

I'm curious to know what you'd say for someone who is naturally more feminine...that she'd have to express a certain amount of masculinity in her life otherwise she'd feel something is missing?  interesting concept...o.O

That's actually easily to observe, I know a few girls who compensate lack of physical feminine atraction and attention from oposite sex (who are very short for example) with being bossy or posses other traits characteric for men. However, my observation may be based on stereotypes rather than seeing more complex nature of those individuals.

Being physically good looking or attractive - I don't think has much to do with femininity...

Perhaps I used the wrong examples, but I meant rather lack of some sense of protection etc. from some opposite sexes so they have to play their cards expressing those masculine features. May be imo due to their early childhood problems with those, like when raised without father

I don't think the average woman in our society and during this time has any need for physical protection from a man to where it creates a lack that they need to compensate for...we all have the need for safety and security but I just think in this day and age that more so relates to basic needs and financial security.

Of course they do need and always will. Its much wider idea than basic safety and if an individual haven't received enough of it in the early adolescence , then theres a high possibility he/she will have to find a way to compensate the lack of it in the future

hmm I think if we put aside the edge cases and just think about this in terms of masculinity and femininity on a metaphysical level ¬¬ ..there's that ying/yang sort of polar energies and it seems like in these individual bodies we all fall within this ying/yang spectrum.  Now if I'm more on the yin or feminine side of the spectrum..why is there this theory that I have a need to experience more yang or masculinity in my life?  Why is there this needed balance?

So now I'm googling lol

"In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (/jɪn/ and /jɑːŋ, jæŋ/; Chinese: 陰陽 yīnyáng, lit. "dark-bright", "negative-positive") describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, fire and water, expanding and contracting) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality symbolized by yin and yang."

"Duality is found in many belief systems, but yin and yang are parts of an oneness that is also equated with the Tao. The term 'dualistic-monism' or dialectical monism has been coined in an attempt to express this fruitful paradox of simultaneous unity/duality. Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.[2]According to this philosophy, everything has both yin and yang aspects (for instance, shadow cannot exist without light). Either of the two major aspects may manifest more strongly in a particular object, depending on the criterion of the observation. The yin yang (i.e. taijitu symbol) shows a balance between two opposites with a portion of the opposite element in each section.

In Taoist metaphysics, distinctions between good and bad, along with other dichotomous moral judgments, are perceptual, not real; so, the duality of yin and yang is an indivisible whole. In the ethics of Confucianism on the other hand, most notably in the philosophy of Dong Zhongshu (c. 2nd century BC), a moral dimension is attached to the idea of yin and yang."

Simply because what is natural state for this individual is perhaps just repressing uncomfortable experiences from the past which stays in the subconcious whole life. The aftermath of all of them are permanent changes in one's personality or way of being as we call it. What comes naturally is manifestaton of both environment and genetics to some extent (experiences of our ancestors probably). We can't separate mental states and spirituality because they are in fact connected to each other

so you're saying the pure natural state of an individual is an equal balance within them of both masculine and feminine energy?   And anyone who leans more towards one side has repression due to genetics or past experiences?

Such factors contribute to lack of ballance which may be taken with positive attidute and encourage to find ballance through connections with other person, self realisation etc. or threated as a lost position in life, feeling of lack of something wich leads to supression of those feelings and seeking for cheap alternatives on regular hich brigs joy only temporary. Thats how i perceive this concept and its sharing of my own interpretation rather than attemption to convience anyone of it. Everyone desire is to ballance lack of some values from both sides and there are many ways to do it.

Not sure I get this? The relieve of sexual energy is not ejaculating per se but the orgasm itself. An explosion in pleasure. Women may not ejaculate but they orgasm too and orgasm isn't "free" just like running or walking uses energy. Orgasms will use chemicals and functions of the body which is converted energy.

There is much more to the feminine principle than what society relates to it. The feminine has been largely unconscious to us for many millennia, save for a few relational feminine aspects that can't be sacrificed if we want society to continue. So, motherhood, attractiveness to men, and care taking are largely what makes up societal ideas of the feminine. But there's so much more going on there than meets the eye. In fact, it extends far beyond the expression of human women. It is a principle that imbues all of reality. The masculine is the same way.

So, creativity, strong emotions like falling in love (thus the association with romanticism), motherhood, attractiveness to men are all part and parcel to the feminine principle as it relates to women and the feminine side in men. But they're really just the tip of the iceberg in relation to human women (and the feminine side of human men) and reality at large.

But I would say that a subtractive approach to discovering your feminine side is probably best. If you try to "put on" or "add" feminine energy to yourself, it'll just be a bunch of ideas that are derived from culture and relational understandings, which are limited and often distorted. And because they are of the mind and are thoughts, ideas, and beliefs about the feminine, they will still ultimately belong to the masculine principle. But if you approach it in a subtractive way, you're just removing the barriers to realizing whatever happens to be there regardless of labeling it masculine or feminine or neither.

So, I'd say the best way to get in touch with the feminine aspect of yourself is to really explore the realm of the emotions. Emotions are a mysterious realm inside every human being that belongs to the feminine. There's a lot going on there, and it's a realm that's home to all the wisdom and insights that you could ever need. It's like a dark watery cave with many treasures buried in it, which is also home to many monsters. Emotions carry wisdom. So, this is why wisdom is an aspect of the feminine principle, esoterically speaking.

But our culture is very masculine oriented and doesn't look well upon emotions in general. They are looked at more as signs of weakness and something to hide away. So, we get in the habit of repressing how we feel and instead prefer to defer to the mind and its "Shoulds" and "Should nots".

So, I recommend getting in touch with your emotions and practice validating them. Think of it as an aspect of yourself to explore and discover things in.  And remove limiting beliefs about emotions being weak or unmanly. It's certainly not for the faint of heart. It is only the realm of emotions that people can root themselves into reality enough to be grounded and receive wisdom. This will also provide you stability and save you from gullibility while you're doing inquiries into higher nature things.
