That's a good one for customized binaural beats and different other types of ambience sounds:

In terms of music, check God Is An Astronaut

Music is great there is no telling.

But you might wanna learn to meditate without anything, no drugs, no nothing. Because that thing becomes your addiction on the long term. :)

Oh man too many to list. If you want something to go meta on life then:

Pink Floyd - Endless River
Pink Floyd - Darkside of the Moon
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Theophany - Time's end  (A remix of Zelda Majora's mask songs, interesting if you understand the concepts the game presents and certainly intense)

These are all albums that are intended to be listened to from start to finish, and can produce a very interesting mindset when combined with meditation..or other things..

Along that same lines but talking song wise:
Synkro - Knowledge
Synkro - Viewpoint
Synkro - Aerial
Beardyman - On a mountainside

These guys are great for journeying and enjoyment but for straight up meditation I tend to prefer something without the emotional overlays so go with pure bin-aural beats, I have a set I purchased that include babbling brook, dream, transcendence. All very useful to at least quiet the monkey mind right off.

That all being said I only meditate with music perhaps two days a week, it's useful for observing your reactions certainly but it's also as someone else pointed out a bit of an addiction thus better to do without when you can.

I don't like music with beats or melodies to meditate, it distracts me. I'm meditating with this lately:

It's very monotonous and dark, but also very relaxing. You can lost yourself in the repeating structures.

Here are two more:

Instead of a list of meditation tunes it's better to focus on specific music that is meaningful to you. Music is very closely associated with emotions. If you want to remember and focus on a period in your life it's best to find a song you heard during that period.

My tip: search for the genre psychill on YouTube.

Great meditation music for me, even though it gets pretty intense.

My go to.

In all seriousness, I don't play any music because it takes away from my ability to focus and be aware.   Great stuff in here though, will be stealing to listen later.

Would you guys say that it 's better to meditate with music, or in silence?
