Is Santa clause and the Easter bunny prepping you for enlightenment?

You get to a certain age and you're told they don't exist. You move on. It almost feels like it was put in place to prepare people for the ultimate "doesn't exist" scenario.

There any truth to this?

To which extend do you think that people who were never told about santa clause or the easter bunny have a disadvantage to become enlightend?

I think there might be a truth to this, but the effect is so miniscule that I can dismiss it.

 

Furthermore, I remember when I found out about it, it didnt exactly inspire me to question the fabric of reality itself, like for example "The Matrix" did.

It was though a disillusion which is in itself always good. 

 

The fact that it is a cultural lie could open you up to explore other lies/illusions society spreads. But on the other hand, because it is agreed upon by everyone that it is in fact an illusion, santa clause might even strengthen those bigger illusions we have because almost no one sees them. So we get used letting society tell us what is real and what is not.

Maybe prepping is the wrong terminology or too strong an assertion to make, adventurous though.

Just see some common ground where you are led to believe a lie that everyone tells you is true. Then all of a sudden at some stage you are told it us all a lie. 

It some how feels like it is somehow connected in that it's prep work and it's conditioning ppl to desensitise our attachment to pre disposed beliefs and that we are forced to let that shit go.

You ever see a grown ass man saying shit like "we were lied to bro" .

It's a thing of the past. But you believed it hook line and sinker.

There are many similarities, but just like Leo's new vid sameness vs difference it can go both ways I guess.

I just like to explore these similarities as i find it an interesting connection.
