Thoughts on we live in a simulation

I saw a video about matrix and the idea around we live in a simulation . I don't actually know a lot about this topic , does it worth to do a research and open my mind or it is just another ideology to fall into. I think  Neil de grasse Tyson and Telsa had made some statements on it.

What do you think people?

The thread Devil posted is what ultimately you'll come to. It is a simulation but its more complex than that because its not like a computer per se but the simulation is in the simulator and the simulator is in us so we are inherently the simulator unaware of it.

But don't take anyones word for it. Do all the self inquiry yourself so that you can come to the only possible conclusion.

Simulation theory in science is just science coming closer to the nondual paradigm

If you mean a computer simulation.

No. Just no. That is not what reality is.

That is just a popular idea because we live in the era of computers and people lack imagination.

The truth is far more radical.
