@Leo Gura hey Leo, if you make LGBTQ friends, and let's assume that you've made all musical friends who like to sing all different kinds of music. (Cause not everyone likes music.) I wonder if the two friends who are singing are likely to sing:

"I kissed a girl and I liked it..." ???

I think they're likely to sing it if one or both friends are not straight. This thought came to my mind.

This song also sounds like a person who just discovered that he/she is of a different sexual orientation, or, a person of two sexual orientations. (For instance, he/she is both gay and transgender.)

Ok, I didn't really hear the first few lines of the song, "I got so brave, drink in hand...lost my intention..." So, you're probably right. However, I find it has double meanings, esp when gay guys sing it.

@cypres Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember reading that Ted was a very smart college student in some sort of STEM program who was abducted and given all sorts of powerful hallucinogens by the CIA as part of MKULTRA, which fucked him up bad. Had this never happened, the odds of him becoming an anti-industrial terrorist would've been significantly smaller.
