i think a lot of it might have to do with just the acceptance of the fact that YOU cannot change the way another's mind functions. trying to change it and failing can cause suffering

so by skipping this step. you can just accept their suffering? and be there for when they need you to be or if they ask, then give the advise..

Yes, this is one aspect of it. Its like trying to cross a busy street with someone that you can't touch and they simply stop in the middle of the street, the cars are coming, you are trying to convince the person to move and he simply won't for no reason at all, you see clearly that it will be a disaster and start to freak out yelling at them to move and nothing works. This is how i feel. Right now I have three family members that just stopped in the middle of the busy street blaming everyone for their "inability to move" and all i see is the upcoming tragedy.

I really need to ground myself, any tips? I am making the effort to go to nature as much as possible and be barefoot on the ground.

Those are good, water and exercising are other good ones.

Here's an article about when you're having a hard time grounding.

@Recursoinominado Here's a good story that relates in a way to your situation. It's a short one but has a truth to it that can last a lifetime.
