hahah I don't count the days or anything, I just know the date in which I was introduced to the concept of veganism and can calculate it from there: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=days+since+july+8+2011

There are some good tips here.  Peta focuses a little bit on meat replacements but I would actually suggest trying to follow more of a whole-foods plant-based diet.  Vegan Gains and Jon Venus (both vegan bodybuilders/fitness personalities) have a number of videos showing what they eat in a typical day.  You don't actually need as much protein as you're made to believe; its a bit conflict of interests when the person selling you protein shakes and bars is the same one telling you how much protein you need to eat in a day... just sayin.  About .65 grams per pound is recommended for athletes and natural bodybuilders.

Anything with beans/rice and some kind of sauce is going to be pretty tasty and filling.  You can lookup different Mexican/Indian/middle eastern/Asian recipes for ideas.  A lot of people feel like they are restricting their food options when they get rid of animal products but it actually pushes you to try different cuisines and opens up your pallet to so many new flavors and styles.

Yeah i´m drinking 1 additional protein-shake per day to realy enshure i got those proteins, since i go to gym 2xweek and go bolder 1xweek and badminton as well (which is not realy anabol-process-inducing, but still i like to make shure i got enough protein) also lentils!! :)

Jeah!! that´s a good idea, mexican ( i will try "chilli sensa carne" next week) and asian food has a lot to offer i guess....

Seeing as animal agriculture is the single largest contributor to almost every single environmental ill our planet faces today, I think you got a pretty big reason right there. On the micro-scale, it's one of the most abusive industries to work in (as an employee, seriously the conditions are usually god-awful), and on the macro-scale you're helping save the planet. This is of course in addition to all the ethical concerns, as well as it being pretty much the healthiest diet out there, when done properly. Did you know that the oldest dog in the world was vegan his whole life? :)

@Neill Bolton I was thinking along the lines of nutrition stats. As in what vital vitamins and minerals that boost performance, such as super-foods what not. Thanks for replying though :P, I already know about the dairy and egg industry.
