How do I transform my sexual energy into something productive?

So, i've been doing quite a lot of consciousness  work recently (Meditation, yoga, self-inquiry, mindfulness throughout the day)  and I feel a lot of sexual energy in me, my libido skyrockets. The question is how do I not waste it? How to transcend it and use it in a most beneficial ways?

Masturbation lowers it, and when I spend it on masturbation (I don't currently have a gf), even though I have one of the most intense orgasms I ever had, I feel like i'm wasting it on some silly activity.
I think I'd feel about not very intimate sex the same way if I had it. 

I've heard Leo talk about using sexual energy to fuel your work. But how do I do it properly? Especially if my work is intellectual (Right now I am reading and studying a lot + doing computer programming).

In my experience the way you utilize sexual energy by just doing what you do. When you have a lot of sexual energy you have better concentration, intellectual abilities, short term memory and plenty of motivation.

But! If there's a lot of neurosis, ADD and other stuff the energy fuels them as well. So a good answer to your question would be to channel your energy to alleviating neurosis so you have more energy available for the right stuff.

I guess in a sense a good way of thinking about energy is "energy =  available amount of effort". If you have a lot of neurosis effort gets scattered by it, you try to cover neurosis by efforting on petty egoic pleasures.

In the other sense energy is the craving for what can make you happy/complete, and again it gets scattered by what ego thinks can make you happy. What can make you ultimately complete?

You can sum it down to being horny, but the term 'sexual energy' is better in the context of talking about how you feel and using your mind to utilize those feelings. I would call 'horny' as underplaying the importance of this energy.

I love that, and I admire myself for how late I am commenting on this. ?

 

in my experience trying not to be too horny and not mastrubate can only backfire. There will be time when the hormones have been balanced, but until that time your hormones are your hormones and they’re doing their job.

 

I wouldn’t even say “don’t fight it” I’d say try fighting it with all your might, and tell me how it went ?

Here's the way i see it 

Sexual energy is a myth. It doesn't exist

There is energy. If you channel it towards sex then it obviously becomes sexual energy. The tricky thing is that the mind converts it into sexual energy so fast that you do not catch it and just assume that it was sexual energy from the start. 

 

The mistake you made is 2 folds:

First you allowed the mind to convert your energy into sexual nature

Then you are trying to control it or suppress it. It will never work or it will eventually backfire on you.

So what to do...i guess have something to be passionate about. If you really are dedicated to a purpose then sex shouldnt even enter your mind. If it has then you've already fucked up.
