Taking in consideration the existing perspectives on what "science" IS we could safely assume that there are officially accepted different perspectives. Examples are countless. Some of them are built on some systems for example : mathematics, the perception of space and time, feelings, memories, ways of thinking, beliefs, etc There are ways to either prove them or perceive them.

This could be used as knowledge (like science is) when embracing the journey of self understanding.
