Spiral Dynamics Stage Turquoise Examples Mega-Thread

Frank Yang displays aspects of both Yellow and Turquoise.
For example, he seems to be a bit of a lone wolf and can seem emotionally distant or wrapped up in his own experience.
But then he's also clearly interested in transcending himself to understand and embody Truth.
He also watches Leo's videos and visits the forum sometimes.
Hi Frank.

Professor Dumbledore. What stage would that make J.K. Rowling? I guess you can be a medium and a vessel, creating something at turquoise level, but your ego holds you back to other stages.

I was never into this spiral dynamics stuff but by observing and skimming through the first page aren't stage turquoise people basically everyone that is (awake to their true self)? as (The Stage Turquoise values), all of them come naturally with awakening to your true self and quite a few people who use these forums or at least a good handful already express most if not all of those.

@pluto No. If you don't bother to study, you will not understand the difference.

Awakening isn't Turquoise, and Turquoise isn't awakening.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Also: Star Trek's crew : Kirk, Spock, Bones, Sulu, etc. They are a collective of (complementary) yellow people that share a common goal and solving problems together in real time.

Are they together turquoise ?

// I cannot find a relevant video, sorry :(

stairway to heaven. can a person who does not have at least a glimpse of understanding about enlightenment wrote the lyrics? look the way he sings it to the audiences, to me looks like a teacher jokes his student about the meaning of life

It seems that there is quite a big confusion going on with stage Turquoise and Nonduality. I think Ken Wilber explains it well with path of growing up and path of waking up. One is spiritual intelligence and the other is spiritual experience. Other terms I came across were vertical enlightenment and horizontal enlightenment. If you were thinking that you were going to become Nondual at stage Turquoise then Ken might ruin your day :D

Christopher Langan is hard to pin down, but I think he might be an example of a scary kind of Turqoise:

Debate

edit: I take it back already. I think he's a kind of extreme, advanced Yellow. He's very individualistic, argumentative and doesn't see any limits to rationality. Maybe he's right! In any case, an interesting individual to study.
