SD: Some advice for those of you trying to 'get' green

4 posts in this topic

I'd like to start off by saying that I'm far from an authority on this stuff, so grain of salt, and all that.

I reckon there's a lot of intellectual oranges out there looking over at green, scratching their heads, and going, 'Do I REALLY have to?' I mean, who wants to be like those nasty SJWs and blue-haired feminists, right? I've even seen some of you trying to grapple with green's politics, and not having much luck. So it's no wonder some of you (esp. if you've reached yellow levels intellectually) just want to skip it and pretend it doesn't exist.

Well, first of all, you can't skip a stage. It's like trying to skip puberty... that's not how that works. Second of all, green is a paradigm shift from orange, similar to how orange is from blue and blue is from yellow. It's the yin to orange's yang - a perfect synergy.

Third of all, what I'd like to convey most to all of you is this; fuck the politics. Seriously. Even though green tends to be very political, green is not about politics or an ideology. The essence of green is all about the 'feels'. I'm talking about things such as nurturing and empathy, something that an orange needs to truly embody, rather than to simply understand logically.

So, how do you do that? I think the quickest way to get a glimpse is to get your hands on some MDMA. (Shrooms might also work, but not as reliable. Also, make sure you use a test kit if you go this route.) If you've done MDMA before, you know exactly what green is. And, I've never tried 5-meo before, but from the way it's been described, I'd say MDMA is to green what 5-meo is to turquoise.

If you don't want to or can't try MDMA (or maybe you have tried it and you want to know how to get back to that place while sober), what you need to do is start embracing your feminine side. I know some of you just threw up in your mouth a little, but bare with me. All of us guys (and of course gals) have feminine energy inside of us, though most of us don't recognize it for what it is. It's kind of euphoric and feels a bit like a mild MDMA dose. When it hits you (like when you think of a significant other you dearly miss), it feels like a wave of emotion rushing through you, and may even make you tear up a little. There's tons of articles and videos out there on how to increase this energy, but at this point, I've no idea what works and what doesn't. I've had it flowing through me much more so than usual as of late, for unknown reasons.

Anyway, once you get a proper dose of this energy (whatever chemical concoction it happens to be on the micro level), green's politics (as well as the dynamics between men and women) should start to make a lot more sense. You may not agree with them (esp. if you're more of an intellectual yellow), but you'll know where they're coming from.

Anyway, hope this helps a little :)

It won't move you up, any more than 5-meo would move you up to turquoise. The point is just to try it out and see what it's like, so you have an idea of where you're headed. You still have to get there on your own :)

Uncannily, all of my most recent videos are highly related to this topic. I'm releasing one tomorrow about Spiral Dynamics and the integration of the Divine Feminine. And in relation to that, trying to shift our mostly Orange society over to Green. Then, I did three before it on Yin and Yang, Systems Thinking, and the Reintegration of the Divine Feminine. They're all part of a loosely related series for individual and societal growth.

@Joseph Maynor Joseph, I'm mainly in green and I got to say, it isn't an easy ride (emotional labour MASSIVELY, draining almost).
