I've got 50 bucks to spend

I got an Amazon gift card for my birthday and was thinking I'd get a title or two from the book list. FROM THE BOOK LIST, what are one or two books you've liked the most and have gotten the most out of?

Buy the one that you are most attracted to. This way you will attract the best book for you. You may not get the same outcome as someone else has, follow your inner-calling.

Mastery by George Leonard and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

Way of the Superior Man by David Deida is another good one as well.

All pretty much related to achieving success in your relationships with people and increasing your productivity in life.

I would go for this :

- A rice cooker, for healthy food (steamed vegetables) to improve consciousness.

- A spiral zap book & pens, to sketch ideas & write your dreams down (dream journal).

If you want to invest in a book, I'd choose something related to the domain you want to master.

Yes, I bought the book list several years ago. Just wanted to see what people were liking the most.

Journaling is a great way to design your life. You can look at higher quality bullet journals with a few extra bucks! Youtube has hundreds of endless ways to design your life through many activities that you could do daily in a notebook. From brain dumps, to habit experiments, to habit checkers, and more. It really works well for me! I think that is your SINGLE most important book that you should consider as the possibilities are endless.

Cheers. :)

Deep work is a good suggestion. I have mastery. Mastery was good.

@ULFBERHT "The Book of Not Knowing" by Peter Ralston is great. I've only read a few chapters, and I regret that I haven't read more of it in my spare time.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

What about Zen? I've always been fascinated with the discipline and austerity of Japanese Zen philosophy, meditative practice, and aesthetic.

I'd tell you but then I'd be afraid of giving away the book list for the people that didn't pay for it.  I suppose there needs to be a separate forum category for those that have bought Leo's products.  He's mentioned a few in his videos but I don't want to cross any boundaries.
