Because sometimes you don't want to be too rational. Rationality unchecked deconstructs meaning and purpose, hence why existential nihilism and unhinged hedonism becomes a problem at Orange.

Orange work ethic tends to be a slave to hedonistic pleasures, exploitative corporate success, material wealth and social validation (status, sex, drugs and money). There is a lack of higher-order purpose, of morality, of giving back to the community.
