Kriya yoga

Hello. I started to do kriya yoga a couple of days ago. Today I did something that I am afraid it will bring bad influence on my energy. I started to feel very awful ( out of nowhere) and I needed something to calm my mind. So I put myself in the position and started to practice Nadi Sodhana Pranayama without meditating before. It was an unexpected action, choosing to practice nadi pranayama. I didn't even focus on it and after 3-4 rows someone called me and disturb my practice. I stopped and answered the phone. And now I am worried. Will this affect my energy? And not only this. Of course I will make mistakes on my practie without even realizing, but it will affect me that bad? Thank you ! Peace and love.

If anything, fear can disturb your practice. Experiment and if something unpleasant arises you have the power to change it. You are no different from the first yogi. Trust your inner guidance.

LMAO, you think that kriya yoga is like taking a shit and if the shit cuts off in the middle the rest is just going to hang there?

and youre talking about the preperatory exercises, which are very harmless.

I dont think if you quit it in the middle it does anything.

also i wouldnt recommend kriya for "relaxing purposes". meditate or something, do some breathing exercises, surrender, be mindful, theres a lot of stuff you can do in time of stress. dont do kriya for that, it's not for relaxation.
