Conversation I had with my mom

Mom: I'm happy you're trying to find your own way, but I really wish you were a Christian.

Me: Would you not much rather have me seek the truth?

Mom: I should have read you from the Bible more when you were young.

Me: So you would much rather have me become a Christian than seek the truth?

Mom: Jesus Christ is the truth. What do you think it is?

Me: I don't know. I'm seeking it.

Mom: Okay. But I really wish you were a Chrisitian.

She's actually more like Stage Orange with a tiny bit of Green. But religious conversations really show her blueness. I've actually had many conversations about religion with her over the years but I've learned that when people have had a certain worldview their entire lives it's nearly impossible for them to change it.

I feel like green are winning the culture wars and this is what it feels like to be blue

Yeah indeed, although it took my entire life to get to that point :P

That's also why I say she's not completely Blue at this point.

But I just found the conversation interesting because I realized there was nothing I could do to change her mind. So I shared this as a personal example for that reason.

And I really see it more as healthy Blue because she's open to me finding my own way (which has gotten me to the freedom I have today) but yet she still cannot grasp that "seeking truth" is of higher value than being a good Christian.

Oh well, maybe she'll continue to grow and become more open minded...or not, either way it doesn't matter too much. It's great she just lets you be even if she doesn't agree.

@andyjohnsonman Katie Hopkins has said a lot of ridiculous things seemingly to just get a reaction and gain attention though. Perhaps it's a "Be careful what you wish for" scenario lmao

The first 2.5 minutes is classic stage Blue:

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Blue / Orange.

There's a lot of patriotism, nationalism and a little of religious talk in this video.

I just think Arnold in general is the epitome of 80s Orange machismo.

I agree. And it's the same thing for Sylvester stallone too.

Quite surprising that a stage Blue person knows so much about Osho

Lol. This guy can certainly crack me up! He’s funnier than Stephen Colbert!

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie
