Is the "giving a name to your baby" cultural norm stage blue? 

What I'm trying to say, your parents choose a name for you, "against your will"  in a way , and indoctrinate you to belive that you are actually called " Joe " , when it's a totally relative and meaningless label. 

You are totally free to introduce yourself to others as Arnold from today on, and refer to yourself as Arnold. If you want. 

Same goes for last names. The pride of your last name, the desire to get married and pass it to your children, etc.

@mmKay Or you can look at it from the perspective of being a Stage Purple construct. The name is given to you by the tribe as a way of establishing your relationship to the tribe. Only other people can call your name. Language is a social construct, which means that your name (tribal identity) can only ever arise inside a tribe in the first place. Having a name is therefore as much a collective function as an individual function. You don't need a name if you're alone.

I dont understant Shapiro, I mean you can  wear dresses, or lingeries and fantasizing about other men, while staying as a perfect man with testosterone pumping on your veins.
