Setbacks

how often do setbacks happen on the self-actualisation journey?

I feel like even though I've been growing myself for a while now, sometimes I just fall back into my old habits and procrastinate

is it normal for someone lets say for example who has been self-actualizing for many years to get sucked back into his old ways even after years of self-improvement. Also, what are ways of dealing with setbacks?

@Xin

As long as you are growing you will have setbacks.

They're incredibly challenging, but you want to not resist this as much as possible because it's inevitable. There is no point where you just do things perfectly.

Once you realize it's part of the process and move into non-resistance, you'll almost crave setbacks because you know the growth that's on the otherside.

Just don't use that as an excuse to self sabotage. You don't need to create setbacks, they're plenty capable of finding their way.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

 And it goes On and On, On and On"

Set backs occur daily but the progress through the momentum of positive actions created outweighs them .
