Leo is who you are, he should not be your guru

8 posts in this topic

This is probably a controversial opinion.

I love what Leo does, and I enjoy his content and insights. I hope for more to follow!

But let's not forget, he's just at the same spot as you, me and everyone else is!

He might claim to have seen something special, but this is nothing special to him!

He is no god! If he every claims to be god, that would just be his spiritual ego.

He is you, and you is the rest of mankind. Don't forget this!

Maybe I just hope this community does not fall into a personality cult and sees the truth for what it is!

Reading all the comments and threads here makes me hopeful.

I hope you have a great day!

Pretty sure you're misunderstanding what Leo means by 'god'. Its not a deity, but everything. You're everything (and nothing). It's just a word trying to explain the unexplainable. This is what Leo is trying to communicate. You can also call it Consciousness.

It’s best to think of Leo as a Perspective that you can become influenced by.  But realize we’re all in a Network of synergizing Perspectives, including Leo.  Everybody is growing and influencing everybody else.  Thinking of Leo as a guru is a very Tier-One way of thinking.  Leo is a Perspective within a synergizing Network of Perspectives.  Every Perspective in the Network is both a guru and a guree, including Leo.  Leo is like a large Sun in the Network, but everyone else in the Network is a Sun too, right.  Rather than the guru model, start to think more in terms of influences going in all directions in the Network of Perspectives.  Leo is just as much influenced by us as we are by him.

Saying you’ve seen something special does not automatically make a person say they’re God — as in an all powerful deity. If this would be the case, then we should be discouraging people who create special inventions, medical research, writings, paintings, atheletic feats, and more. These cases are “special”, but this doesn’t make these cases “bad”. Many could very well benefit society.

It’s much easier to assume this with a person who talks about spirituality, but this is not always the case. There’s pseudoreligion to look for as much as pseudoscience. For me, any spiritual belief that claims to know all the answers and demand absolute obedience is pseudospirituality.

Leo doesn’t give us commands as I’ve seen. Just ideas, perspectives, and suggestions — that we can go out to test for ourselves.

If he claims to be a god, it will hurt our ego too. Many of us will try to prove that he is not a god, he has so many weaknesses, he is just a salesman. It will be very difficult for us to accept if he claims godliness.
