New here & have some concern

So, I've been following Leo's work for a few months now on YT. Anyhow I really like his content but today I came to the website for the first time and it just looks so much like all those "fake trying to sell you something useless" sites.  I mean according to the videos on YT he's not really in it for the money, obviously. But the website is just made to appeal to the ego or whatever. I understand he has to make money somehow but it's just that type of advertising or something that just makes me cringe.

or is that just me?
