You have a similar style of expressing yourself in writing as Osho, are you quoting or are you just inspired by him?

Osho is my only master, I don't listen or read anything else. Leo has banned me from quoting Osho, so I am writing on my own but Osho has possessed me already.

Or one must have a thirst for truth to such a degree that one is willing to embark on a Journey where there is no comfort to be had from society. you will be alone, and the point is to stable the mind and go beyond it. So who cares about mental Instability when all u see when you look around is just that, a world where the majority are unaware and uninterested of the mechanisms of Their own minds? That is mental instability.

Level of intelligence may be another factor too.  Have you ever seen any of these people on a vipassana retreat?

The word ‘mentally unstable’ is such a slippery-slope term

What do you call someone who is ok all the time but have Paranoia from time to time ? he is not insane but unstable

I don't like the term mentally unstable, but I guess there is a little bit of truth in that. Someone who cope well with systems as they are now and is satisfied with his life will not seek a different way to live. So, you need to be unsatisfied and/or be able to question things as they are now to be interest practice like meditation or Yoga. Keeping that in mind, it doesn't mean that being mentally unstable, as you say, is something bad.

I heard this from someone, he said something similar to this:

One must be mentally unstable to seek  spirituality (or philosophy) or enlightenment, consciousness...etc.

I think there is some truth in it, if i was stable i would be "happy" with my very basic delusional understanding of "life"

What i mean by mentally unstable: Low self-esteem, addiction problem, depression, laziness, doesn't conform, trauma, phobia, heartbreak, acceptance problem, wanting more, lost of interest...etc.

If you see people who grew up "normally" (even normal is subjective) they are less likely to seek deep understanding of life, they will be able to follow ready-made opinions easily, from theirs point of view, there is no need to work on themselves (just an opinion) i may be wrong

What's your opinion?

Sadghuru was a happy boy. Dont project your own story on 7 billion people.

Its more a inner calling which you can numb or listen to.
