To be simple.

Thought (memory) projects what has been already known. That is what an experience is.

Do you see that ?

Yeah I can see that ^_^ but it makes me wonder if that means that we learn it new everyday, since we are starting as if new.

Well

Take what you and I have talked about before...

Are You free of the accumulated memory’s of the psychological entity (the you)???

If so, wouldn’t you look at the world through fresh eyes ???

If not, then is one looking at the new through old eyes??

Is that a creative action of perseption?

This is correct observation.

One must looking through fresh eyes.

This also means you have to be naive to be creative. You can't have one without the other.

That's the reason people stay away from creativity aka life. They can't face the uncertainty of being naive, they want control, and in control 'you' miss out on life.

You have to lose control face death of separate self in order to live.

"You have to die a few times in order for life to happen"

"Every true genius is bound to be naive"

Isn't it so @Faceless ?

Isn't it so, yes or no?

To die from moment to moment. To die every second.

To remain empty, alone.

And yes the uncertainty, seeking permanence, controle and a controller must end.

Thats is what nourishes thought (experience, memory, the me)

Man, I get it but I'm also a little confused lol

I think it's still just a little bigger than I can fathom right now, but I'll get there!

@zoey101 That's the big one to overcome. It's huge! Unfathomable to the limitations of the mind.

Man were off topic here. Back on topic now.  Can anybody here truly create something new right now? Put your money where your mouth is. Let's hear it. Describe it in some detail. Anything?

Slow way down in your life.  Become super-relaxed.  And then you will become more mindful of creativity as it comes out of you in drips and drabs — on its own timetable.

Lol. xD
Hell of a conundrum to be in.
Confusion,"I don't know" is a much better place to be than, "I know".
"I know" means the end of any possibility of ever knowing it.

I "creatively" made a game for my daughter to throw away her trash lol When she is done we shout "All done! where does it go?" and she runs right to the trash can every time and drops her trash in and shouts "thank you!"

Okay, so it's no light bulb but I don't see anyone else trying! lol

Yeah, I think learning something new is the most exciting thing, sometimes. :)

This cannot be answered, as question/answer both are movements of time/thought. The questioner must cease to move positively.

All such movement of time pushes away creativity.

Thats is the beauty of it.

In the realm where the question exist no creativity can be found.

In the realm where creativity resides, no such question can be found.

It is beautiful indeed.

@zoey101 That's too cute! When my kids were young my wife would put their favorite music on for clean up time. She made the work a fun time. Her and my daughter would sing to 'The Little Mermaid' for instance while they worked. Fond memories for all! Lots of fun times cooking together too! My daughter is just like her mother today. No kids of her own yet but she has a classroom full of 1st graders.

Wanna hear something kinda funny I just remembered. I'm laughing! My wife was pumping breast milk with one of the battery operated pumps. It didn't work very well at all. And she tried a few others too. None of them worked efficiently. So I got creative. I retrofitted it with a commercial vacuum pump I bought at a flea market. I put a control valve on it so she could adjust the suction to her liking. It worked great! She used it for both children. She worked in the evenings so we had to do something so I could feed the baby while she was gone. Necessity is the mother of invention!

That's amazing! lol See, I knew having kids was the best way to become creative lol

My daughter is only two but we are starting to let her help with more around the house :) She is now responsible for carrying up the lightest bag every time we go grocery shopping, and she makes sure to remind us lol

Sit down, just like that, with no expectation. Allow something to flow out of you. Don't overthink it. Give yourself a break and trust that something will come up spontaneously.
