By Leo's standard of criticising Peterson here he does this by using language and thought which are also human inventions, or relationships between each other that have been arbitrarily chosen to then try and discredit an argument based on these nonsensical distinctions that create the argument itself.

 

 

That being said, I would legit kill another man to see an actual debate between Leo and Peterson.

 

Would be an awesome conversation indeed except for the fact that people in general would not get anything out of it.. since they only accept science as a legit source of insight.. which is sad. If leo was to describe that he got his answers form psychedelics and meditation, people would dismiss it as religious nonsense. However, Jordan seems open to the idea of getting any value out of psychedelic trips, which is good. 

@Leo Gura After you have awakened and got what you wanted, I hope to one day see you out there having these kinds of conversations. Not because it’s fun, but because it is important. It will be hard.. But Humans need to reach higher states of consciousness as AI´s soon will go beyond our mental capabilities.

@Leo Gura Very funny but it pays the bills. He also loves championing the space of having people be civil whilst also sharing opposing views and boy oh boy would it make for a fascinating discussion. Taking mental masturbation to new heights.

Seems that it is very easy to misunderstand Peterson. Probably because of his direct and concise way of talking, ,witch at first glance gives the impression that he is somehow paradigm locked, misses things, or doesn't see the other side of the coin, or seems drowned into the current perspective, because he speaks with a lot of passion. Especially if you heard less than 10 hours of his stuff, the lecture stuff, not the "political". 

If you get deeper into his content, you''ll see that he is quite a yellow guy, and that what he is against is blue fundamentalism growing and devouring everything. You'll see him saying: of course morality is man made, language too, its self evident. On that level of analysts  of course it doesn't exist. But what do you  mean by exist. On the other hand you'll see him saying "well that's evil".... Also very often he''ll speak about the multilayered reality, some things can be literal, some metaphorical, irrational and rational at the same time  ....so easy to get confused when trying to follow a systemic person. All that constant paradigm sifting, and shooting out couple ones at the same time can make you shit bricks.

By the way I agree with @Outer and the others.
@Leo Gura did a discussion with some pickup-artist a while ago. It would be only proper to have a discussion with him at this point. Don't try to stick too many stickers on him just because he seem to speak with some form of conviction.

There's a difference between saying morality is an existing external rule to follow than a rule you've created from your own inner drive. A difference between a morality made of guilt from fear of punsihment and a morality born from love. The world when found through self inquiry is pointless, but that is why you can form your own beliefs of what makes it have a purpose.
