No i am understanding it, you are saying the blind man only understands the picture doesn't exist because someone tells him about the picture and he has a concept of him not being able to see it (existing).

Or if someone loses all their senses except for the mind then they will only know that something doesn't exist because they have a memory or concept of having these senses before they had lost it, right?

when nothingness and non-existence are practically the same thing in dictionary terms. Doesn't nothingness basically mean there's nothing there! it doesn't exist?!
