One experience.

It was a one hour long session, but time passed waaaay faster there compared to meditation for example. it Felt like max 35 minutes. Being a first timer it was initially quite hard to get to a relaxed position, I was hitting the sides of the tank all the time because of the small waves that I generated going in to the tank (I realized I had to be absolutely still and just wait the bumps out). But yeah, I would definitely wanted to stay for longer, at least 3 hours.

During my time there I did not experience anything significant, but I did have a pretty good self inquiry moment there. Also a sense of "I have no idea how "I" am positioned in space right now"

It was was not a bang for buck, although it could be powerful if practiced more frequently I suppose.

One thing I would also add that it was not nearly as intense as people often report. Maybe it's a personal thing, but I did not experience any anxiety or fear or anything, and I even have a moderate claustrophobia.

I'm not planning to do it again any time soon, but when I eventually do float again, I will float longer and maybe take a small dose of mushrooms.

All this said: go ahead and try it! Definitely worth a try :)

Yeah it was awesome, you don't feel the body so you can enter deeper states much quicker and float around as pure consciousness/awareness :D

I suggest meditating a week or two or more every day beforehand to get the most out of the experience. You will feel extremely relaxed afterwards even if you don't meditate successfully due to the epsom salts and atmosphere at these places.
