A lot of people are stuck in this work because they see the Mind as an adversary.  But they’re getting trapped in a thought-story.  The Mind is a thought-story!  The Mind is a system, a model.  We made up the Mind, it’s a fiction, a metaphor, a model, a system.

I challenge anyone to find the mind! You cant! There is none! Only thoughts and images appearing in awareness.

Even the dictionary admits its a model or a complex, a sum of parts.

a : the element or complex (see 1complex 1) of elements in an individual that feels, perceives, thinks, wills, and especially reasons

1.The body feels

2.What perceiver?

3.Thoughts appear by themselves of out nothing.

4.Wills? The body effects thoughts  and thoughts effect the body, there is no will inbetween.

5.How do you define reasonable? A psychopath thinks its reasonable to stab someone with a meatcleaver.

Doesn't it seem strange that some employ the movement of mind to try and capture ”reality”?? 

They want to end the mind yet they try and use the mind to do so. Doesn't that seem to be contradicting? 

If we say the mind is not, then why does one stress the importance of practicing techniques, methods, and accumulating knowledge to see what is. Those are all part of mind. 

Do we see that all those attempts are futile right from the getgo? I mean this just seems so obvious. 

If we know the mind is the barrier to what is, why do we insist on cultivating thought to perceive truth?

does my back exist when I stop being aware of a ''back'', do my limbs exist when I'm not aware of them

does my father exist when I'm not aware of him? until I am aware of him again

who's journeying, who's enlightening, what's enlightenment?what's the mind? where am I? what are these symbols, what is a symbol? what is what? ....

@John Iverson It is direct, look for yourself, its actually very easy, close your eyes and locate the mind, takes 5 mins tops to not find it. 

Why does their have to be a mind for thoughts to exists somewhere? Cut out the middleman.
